Alma Veil combines 532 nm and 1064 nm wavelengths with MicroPulse™ technology. The 532 nm wavelength is designed for more superficial targets, while 1064 nm reaches deeper vascular structures. MicroPulse technology expands the platform’s capabilities for skin quality treatments with minimal downtime. Veil-specific clinical evidence includes a multicenter retrospective case series evaluating 13 adults treated across three dermatology practices for vascular-predominant rosacea and facial telangiectasia. At follow-up, treating physicians reported a mean Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale score of 4.23 out of 5, while mean patient satisfaction was 4.31 out of 5. Independent blinded reviewers found moderate-to-high photographic improvement. Mean reported pain was 2.54 out of 10, and no adverse events were reported. The authors concluded that a depth-directed 532/1064 nm workflow produced clinically meaningful clearance with high patient satisfaction and low discomfort in routine practice.¹
