The Unreasnble, Puyallup Tribal Enterprises and Blink49 Studios Advance New Comedy Series Into Post-Production

LOS ANGELES / PUYALLUP RESERVATION, TACOMA, WA, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Unreasnble, the WME-represented film and television production company, Puyallup Tribal Enterprises, and Blink49 Studios today announced that production has wrapped on SAHD Life (pronounced “Sad”), a new six-episode mockumentary comedy created and showrun by Ryan Thomas Patrick.

Filmed in Tacoma, Washington, with support from the Washington State Motion Picture Competitiveness Program, administered by Washington Filmworks, the series brings together an award-winning creative team and a cast spanning television, film and comedy.

SAHD Life follows Tom Campbell, a stay-at-home father struggling to redefine his identity after his youngest child begins attending school full-time. As hidden motives and long-buried secrets begin to surface, the series evolves into an ensemble comedy that explores modern fatherhood, marriage, friendship and the evolving definition of family.

The ensemble cast is led by Andrew Leeds (Barry, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Bones) as Tom Campbell and Jana Schmieding (Rutherford Falls, Reservation Dogs) as Megan Campbell.

Joining them are Evey Correa as Maddy, Etta Wilson as Brie, Milana Vayntrub (This Is Us, Project Hail Mary, Werewolves Within) as Samantha, Tony Cavalero (School of Rock, The Righteous Gemstones, Cobra Kai) as Dean Slater-Banderas, Ally Sheedy (The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo’s Fire, Single Drunk Female) as Joanne Cavanaugh, Mary Hollis-Inboden (*The Righteous Gemstones, Kevin Can F**k Himself) as Suzanne Fenton, Kimberly Guerrero (Reservation Dogs, Rutherford Falls) as Penny, Stephen Ellis (Hail, Caesar!, Abbott Elementary) as Work Tom, George Basil Jr. (Crashing, Flaked, The Good Place*) as Kevin, and musician Chris Baio of Vampire Weekend.

The series represents an independent production model that brings together The Unreasnble and the Puyallup Tribe of Indians in a creative partnership centered on ownership, collaboration and direct audience engagement.

“We’re super excited to partner and help bring this project to life,” said Matt Wadhwani, CEO of Puyallup Tribal Enterprises. “The show’s concept is engaging, and the team behind it is highly reputable and incredibly talented. Serving as the primary investor in SAHD Life also allows us to further diversify our revenue streams while showcasing our Tribal culture and lands through filming here.”

“The independent route to this project has been incredibly exciting, particularly our partnerships with the Puyallup Tribe and The Unreasnble,” said Ryan Thomas Patrick. “The risk in this industry right now isn’t that a project won’t get sold or optioned. It’s that it won’t get made. We greenlit ourselves.”
Academy Award-winning filmmaker Travon Free serves as executive producer, director and writer. His credits include Winning Time, Black Monday, Camping, The Daily Show, the Sports Emmy-winning 38 at the Garden, and the Academy Award-winning short Two Distant Strangers.

The series is produced by The Unreasnble, founded by Travon Free, Mickey Meyer and Martin Desmond Roe. Mickey Meyer and Patrick Raymond serve as producers. Executive producers include Ryan Thomas Patrick, Travon Free, Joe Borden, Nicholas Maye, Lamar Neagle, John Culton, Milana Vayntrub and the Puyallup Tribe.

Blink49 Studios has joined the project as a strategic production partner, supporting audience development, expanding the series’ social footprint across platforms, and exploring opportunities to broaden the show’s reach and distribution.
Casting is by Jory Weitz.

Behind the camera, director of photography Jeremy Mackie leads a creative team that includes production designer John Lavin, costume designer Aidan Vitti, editor Nicholas Gallucci, and UPM/line producer Meghan Mowery.
