One-day leadership and business summit will feature powerful conversations, masterclasses, strategic connections, and resources for growth
ATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, September 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Business Women Empowerment Project, Inc. will host the Women on the MOVE Summit 2026 on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the Microsoft Atlantic Yards at Atlantic Station in Midtown Atlanta.
Created and produced by entrepreneur, author, and business leader Dr. Kim McNair, the Women on the MOVE Summit is a one-day experience designed to bring business owners, professionals, executives, and community leaders together to learn, build relationships, and prepare for the changing way business is being done.
“The way we do business has changed, and we cannot continue doing business as usual,” McNair said. “We have to come together, share information, build meaningful relationships, and position ourselves for greater opportunities. This Summit is about making sure people leave with something they can use to grow their businesses, their brands and themselves.”
The 2026 Summit will feature business education, leadership conversations, panel discussions and live masterclasses led by professionals with experience in entrepreneurship, government, corporate leadership, law, public policy, civic engagement, branding and media.
This year’s featured speakers and leaders include David Shands, host of the Social Proof Podcast, and widely known as “The Podcast King”; Cloteal Labroi, Director of Government Relations Infrastructure at Microsoft; Chief Magistrate Judge Keisha Wright Hill, for Clayton County; business attorney Joi-Lin Hunt, Esq.; Greg Clay, Deputy Chief of Staff for the City of Atlanta; Jay Bailey, President and CEO of the H.J. Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE); Walter Vinson, Assistant General Manager of Business Diversity and Government Affairs for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport; and other respected business and community leaders.
Programming kicks off with Session One, "The Business of You: Building Your Brand, Expanding Your Influence & Positioning for Growth." Session Two, "Leading Through Change: Pivoting with Confidence, Strategy & Purpose," brings together C-suite executives and senior leaders.
Microsoft will also host a featured workshop titled "AI Advantage: Leveraging Copilot, Claude & ChatGPT to Grow Your Business," followed by "The All-Male Leadership Panel: A Conversation with Leaders Shaping Business, Government & Community."
“Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more, and partnerships like Women on the MOVE bring that mission to life,” said Jon McKenley, Senior Manager of Community Affairs for Microsoft. “We’re proud to support a platform that empowers women, expands pathways into technology and leadership, and creates opportunities that strengthen our communities.”
The 2026 Women on the MOVE Summit is supported by a distinguished group of corporate, civic, and community sponsors, including Microsoft, Kroger, Southern Regional Medical Center (SRMC), Creative Velocity, Life with Shenita, A1 Audio Visual, and Avacend.
“Women on the MOVE gives women something especially valuable: the encouragement to see themselves as leaders and the knowledge and relationships to help them advance,” said Tammie Young-Ennaemba, Corporate Affairs Manager for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “Dr. Kim McNair brings together accomplished women and men from business and the community who share candid advice and lessons from their own leadership experiences.
"Women leave with greater confidence, stronger professional connections and a clearer understanding of how to prepare for and pursue leadership opportunities. We have seen how beneficial that experience has been for women at Kroger, and we are honored to sponsor a conference that helps more women succeed as leaders.”
Proceeds from the Women on the MOVE Summit support the BWEP Leadership Academy for High School Girls, which has mentored over 100 young women through programs in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, technology, life skills and personal growth.
