The evening of October 7 will bring Monaco glamour to Greece, as the WGES Global™ NOVA Awards honor the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation for international leadership in climate, biodiversity and ocean protection, alongside Formula 1's Sustainability Strategy, recognized for its Net Zero Carbon by 2030 commitment. Through Nazionale Piloti, Formula 1 drivers and international motorsport personalities are expected to make special appearances. Additional 2026 NOVA Award recipients include Dr. Dionysia-Theodora Avgerinopoulou, Professor Ashish Joshi and Myconian Collection Hotels & Resorts, with a special award created by Greek sculptor Exsekias Trivoulides and the main NOVA Awards created by Athens-born sculptor Nikoletta Breeze. Ms. Daisy Gallagher, AMSc, CPM, CCHt, and Dr. Kostas Mastorakis, DVM, will co-host. The reception will be held at NYN ESTI, Athens.

The 2026 honorees join a distinguished history of WGES Global NOVA Award recipients that has included Dow, the City of Philadelphia, the District of Columbia, the Federative Republic of Brazil/Rio de Janeiro, Drexel University's Smart House, among other corporations, governments, universities, institutions and individuals recognized for excellence in leadership and innovation.
