U.S.-made Modified Silane sealant gives transportation manufacturers a higher-performance alternative to traditional polyurethane and silicone formulations.
Every market we go into, we start by asking what's actually failing and why. Then we build the answer. That's a different starting point than most suppliers in this space.”
COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA, UNITED STATES, August 12, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Forza Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer of industrial adhesives, sealants, and specialty tapes, today announced the availability of ForzaSEAL® T-OS150, a semi-self-leveling, hybrid polymer sealant developed for roof seam, sidewall, and panel sealing applications in transportation manufacturing, including buses, semi-trailers, cargo trailers, and specialty vehicles.— Rick Glenn, Owner & General Manager
ForzaSEAL® T-OS150 is formulated using Forza's proprietary HyPer Polymer™ MS (Modified Silane) Technology — a moisture-curing, silane-terminated polymer platform manufactured at Forza's U.S.-based production facility in Pasadena, Texas.
MODIFIED SILANE TECHNOLOGY IN TRANSPORTATION MANUFACTURING
Modified silane polymer technology has seen increasing adoption across transportation manufacturing sectors as producers evaluate alternatives to traditional polyurethane and silicone sealant formulations. Each legacy chemistry carries recognized limitations: polyurethane sealants are subject to UV-induced hardening, chalking, crazing, and cracking over time, while silicone sealants present challenges around paintability, surface migration, and multi-substrate adhesion.
ForzaSEAL® T-OS150's semi-self-leveling formulation is designed to flow into riveted joints, fastener lines, and irregular roof seams, creating a continuous seal across the joint. The product cures to a flexible, non-shrinking bond formulated to maintain performance through vibration, thermal cycling, and sustained outdoor exposure.
"Transportation manufacturers are operating in demanding environments where sealant performance directly affects vehicle longevity and warranty costs," said Rob Glenn, Owner and Sales Director of Forza Inc. "T-OS150 was developed specifically for these conditions — the self-leveling behavior, the UV stability, the temperature range — every specification was driven by what actually happens to these vehicles in the field."
PRODUCT PERFORMANCE DATA
According to Forza's published technical data, ForzaSEAL® T-OS150 delivers the following performance characteristics:
• Tensile Strength: 177 PSI
• Elongation at Break: 280%
• Temperature Range: -75°F to +400°F
• Skin Time: 120 minutes
• Shore A Hardness: 42
• 100% solids — non-shrinking, non-yellowing
• UV Performance: UV resistant and paintable
• Colors: White, Gray, and Black
• Sizing: 10.1 oz cartridge, 28 oz cartridge, 20 oz sausage, 5 gallon pail, 52 gallon drum
Forza's product comparison data indicates that its HyPer Polymer™ MS formulations perform across six key categories — structural bond strength, UV stability, paintability, low VOC/no isocyanates, non-shrinking performance, and multi-substrate adhesion — where polyurethane and silicone each present documented limitations in one or more categories.
DOMESTIC MANUFACTURING AND AVAILABILITY
ForzaSEAL® T-OS150 is manufactured in the United States. Forza states that its domestic production model supports consistent product availability and allows the company to customize formulations — including cure speeds, viscosity, and adhesion profiles — for OEM-specific production requirements.
"Manufacturing in the U.S. gives us direct control over quality and availability," said Rick Glenn, Owner and General Manager of Forza Inc. "When a customer needs a formulation adjusted for their specific line, we can do that without the delays that come with overseas sourcing. That responsiveness matters when production schedules are tight."
The product is currently available through direct order and Forza's distributor network. Technical data sheets and sample requests are available at www.forzabuilt.com or by contacting Forza directly at +1 402-731-9300.
