iFour Technolab celebrated its Foundation Day on August 5 by hosting Hackathon 2026, a week-long internal innovation event that united employees from both technical and non-technical departments to create solutions around real business problems.
The event brought marketers, developers, sales professionals, and other employees together to identify problems, develop ideas, and build working solutions using technology and artificial intelligence.
The event included nine teams comprising 45 members. Teams were given 48 hours to work on their respective projects and present their solutions to an executive panel.
A Cross-Functional Approach to Hackathon 2026
iFour Technolab, a US-based healthcare software development firm, organized Hackathon 2026 as an in-house innovation event focused on developing solutions for practical business challenges.
Rather than limiting participation to technical teams, the event included employees from different functions. Participants worked together to identify problems, assess potential solutions, and develop working prototypes.
The nine teams worked on projects covering healthcare, legal services, food accessibility, IT infrastructure, recruitment, knowledge management, software testing, and sales.
The top three teams were awarded ₹30,000, ₹20,000, and ₹10,000, respectively.
Nine Big Solutions Presented
The teams displayed the following projects:
- PlusPhysio AI Care Coordinator – a solution focused on coordination in physiotherapy care
- AI-Powered Business Lead Finder – a solution for identifying potential business leads
- Groundwork – a solution designed to prepare codebases for AI integration
- Smart Candidate Screening & Recruitment Automation Platform – a recruitment screening and automation solution
- QA Pilot – an AI-driven solution for web testing
- AI-Powered: From Meetings to Winning Leads – a solution focused on converting meeting discussions into potential sales opportunities
- Project Brain – a knowledge management solution
- FoodBridge – a solution addressing surplus food and accessibility
- Auto Infra Creation Software – a solution focused on automating infrastructure and development pipelines
Each team was required to explain its approach, demonstrate the working solution, and respond to questions from iFour's executive panel.
The projects were evaluated based on factors including relevance, execution, and potential practical application.
Evaluating the Projects
iFour's executive team reviewed the nine projects as part of the final evaluation. The assessment considered the reasoning behind each solution, its implementation, and its potential application to the problem identified by the team.
Three projects ultimately received the top positions.

Solutions Across Multiple Areas
The projects developed during the event addressed challenges across several areas, including:
- Healthcare – process coordination and patient experience
- Legal – information-intensive workflows
- Food – accessibility and operational waste
- IT and Sales – internal productivity and decision-making
Teams were encouraged to first identify the problem they wanted to address and then select technologies based on the requirements of the proposed solution.
Beyond the Competition
The event also provided an opportunity for employees to explore potential applications of artificial intelligence and other technologies beyond their regular areas of work.
