O4U expands year-round support through its mentoring program and prepares to welcome students to its 2026 conference season.

NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, September 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Out for Undergrad (O4U), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting undergraduate students reach their full potential is expanding its year-round programming as it welcomes students to its 2026 conference season and continues the rapid growth of its mentoring program.

For more than 20 years, O4U has connected undergraduate students with leading employers, professionals, alumni, and a community of peers. Over 12,500 students have participated in O4U programming since the organization was founded.

The 2026 conference season begins this month with O4U’s Engineering & Sciences Conference in September, followed by the Business Conference in October. Across its conferences and year-round programs, O4U provides students with opportunities to build professional skills, explore career pathways, develop meaningful relationships, and find community.

Beyond its conferences, O4U launched its Ongoing Mentoring Program in fall 2022 with 26 students. Since then, the program has grown substantially, serving nearly 150 students in 2025 and on track to serve more than 200 students in 2026. The program connects students with O4U alumni and professionals who provide guidance, perspective, and support as students navigate college, career decisions, and the transition into the workforce.

“Our mentoring program allows us to continue supporting students throughout the year and to build the relationships and community that are at the heart of O4U.” said O4U’s Executive Director, Dr. Cindi Love.

The growth of the mentoring program reflects O4U’s broader investment in creating opportunities for students beyond the conference experience. By connecting students with mentors, alumni, volunteers, and employers throughout the year, O4U is working to create a community that supports students not only as they begin their careers, but as they continue to grow as professionals and leaders.

“We want students to know that when they become part of O4U, they are joining a community they can continue to rely on throughout their college experience and into their careers,” said Dr. Love.
