RMGM Promotions is announcing that the Colorado Mineral & Fossil Fall Show will return to the Delta Hotels Denver Thornton from September 9 through 14, 2026, bringing together dealers, collectors, and enthusiasts from across the mineral, fossil, and gem community. The show is free to attend, offers free parking, and welcomes both wholesale and retail buyers daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., closing at 5 p.m. on the final day.

This year's show carries forward a legacy that traces back to Marty Zinn, who helped establish Denver as a premier destination for minerals, fossils, gemstones, and home decor. RMGM Promotions, led by Sandra Gonzales, continues that tradition with a lineup anchored by two standout dealers.

Featured Dealer: Wendy's Minerals

Wendy's Minerals, operated by Wendy and John Zhou, is this year's featured dealer. For more than three decades, the family-run business has specialized in investment-grade and collector-level Chinese mineral specimens, working on what Wendy describes as a direct source, mine-to-market model that ensures clear provenance and guaranteed quality on every piece.

Wendy's passion for minerals began in childhood, watching her geologist father's collection, and grew into a career as a geologist herself before she and John built their business into a trusted name in the industry. Attendees can find Wendy's Minerals at Booth C-27 in the lower level of the Convention Center, where the Zhous will showcase newly discovered rhodochrosite specimens, gemmy sphalerites, cerussite specimens, and standout fluorites.

Featured Fossil Dealer: Tynsky's Fossils, Inc.

Tynsky's Fossils, Inc. returns to the show with a debut find six decades in the making. The Tynsky family has quarried the Wyoming Green River Formation since the 1960s, when Sylvester "Switz" Tynsky and his sons began the operation near Kemmerer, Wyoming. Their legacy includes the discovery of the first complete Eohippus, or "Dawn Horse," now on permanent display at the Smithsonian.

This year, the Tynskys will debut a 68-inch Atractosteus atrox, known as the "ferocious gar," recovered in 2025 by share diggers Beth and Alec Hovagim. The specimen, with an 18-inch skull and an estimated life weight of 60 to 70 pounds, is the largest and rarest fossil lake gar recovered from the Green River Formation. After seven months of preparation, the fossil will be on display alongside other recent finds, including a baby Echmatemys sp. fossil turtle.
