The new agreement builds on a partnership that began in 1998, reflecting nearly three decades of collaboration, local support, and technology planning.

As part of the agreement, Smart City Networks will begin deploying Wi-Fi 7 immediately, with completion scheduled for 2027. The upgrade will modernize the venue’s wireless foundation and expand its ability to support the growing number of devices, applications, and connectivity demands that accompany today’s events.

Smart City Networks delivered the country’s first convention center Wi-Fi 7 deployments at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio and the Miami Beach Convention Center. Those deployments bring proven experience to the Colorado Convention Center upgrade and are part of a broader, venue-focused approach that includes infrastructure planning, network design and implementation, on-site support, and event-specific services tailored to venues, organizers, exhibitors, and attendees.
