Spokane Personal Injury Attorney Matthew Albrecht Served as One of Only Six Plaintiff Lawyers Nationwide To Teach at the ABA National Trial Academy in Nevada
SPOKANE VALLEY, WA, UNITED STATES, August 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Albrecht Law PLLC, a premier civil trial and appeal law firm, is proud to announce that founder Matthew C. Albrecht recently served as faculty at the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) and American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) National Trial Academy.
The intensive five-day program took place from March 21 to March 25, 2026, at the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada. Recognized by the ABA Journal as the country's top "Boot Camp for Lawyers," the Academy provided hands-on, immersive courtroom training for litigators looking to refine their skills. Albrecht was one of only six plaintiff lawyers from across the nation invited to instruct at this year's Academy. The program limited enrollment to just 30 students to maintain a highly personalized three-to-one student-to-faculty ratio.
"These efforts are what we all owe to pay back the generous mentorship we have received," said Matthew Albrecht. "I've always believed that you don't make a racehorse any faster by putting on a fancier saddle; you've got to work on the horse itself. Storytelling is the key to good trial work, and I was excited to help fellow litigators refine their skills so they can best represent real people who have been injured."
Albrecht brought extensive real-world and academic experience to the faculty. Based in Spokane, he is deeply committed to trial advocacy and frequently hosts workgroups to teach storytelling techniques. In addition to his courtroom successes, he is a co-author of two Thomson-Reuters treatises, including Washington State Insurance Law and Litigation, and he co-founded a jury research company to better understand juror deliberations through focus groups and shadow juries.
During the Academy, Albrecht helped guide participants through opening statements, direct and cross-examinations of real physicians and engineers, and jury selection. The rigorous program concluded with a mock jury trial using actual community members, allowing participants to test their skills under authentic courtroom pressure before watching the jury deliberate via a live video feed.
