Created by women entrepreneurs for women entrepreneurs, the $100,000 Capital Elle Business Impact Award helps women build more valuable businesses.
Forty women entrepreneurs didn't just sponsor an award—they built the opportunities they wished existed.”
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO, CANADA, August 25, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Canadian women entrepreneurs don't have a knowledge gap—they have an access gap.— Erin Sisko, Founder & CEO, The Elleiance Network
That's the belief behind the 2026 Capital Elle Business Impact Award, a $100,000 national business growth award launched by The Elleiance Network to help ambitious women entrepreneurs build businesses that are more valuable tomorrow than they are today.
Applications officially open September 2, 2026, inviting women entrepreneurs from across Canada to compete for a share of $100,000 in cash and business growth opportunities designed to increase access to strategic connections, growth capital and acquisition opportunities.
Unlike traditional business awards that recognize past accomplishments, the Capital Elle Business Impact Award invests in a founder's future by intentionally closing the access gap that too often limits business growth.
One of the most unique aspects of the award is how it came to life. Rather than being funded by a single corporation, venture capital firm or government program, the Capital Elle Business Impact Award was built through the collective support of 40 Canadian women-owned businesses. Together, they have created a first-of-its-kind founder-backed business award, proving what's possible when women entrepreneurs invest in the success of other women entrepreneurs.
"Women entrepreneurs don't have a knowledge gap—they have an access gap. The Capital Elle Business Impact Award was designed to bridge that gap by creating intentional access to strategic relationships, capital and opportunities that can change the trajectory of a business. It's incredibly powerful to see 40 Canadian women-owned businesses come together to create opportunities for more women entrepreneurs."
