ELEKS marks 35 years by embedding AI across its entire delivery model, reaffirming its role as an AI-native engineering partner to global enterprises.

Thirty-five years ago, we were one product. Today, we're an AI-native partner to global leaders and Fortune 500 enterprises across ten countries. Our commitment to excellence has not changed.”
— Andriy Krupa, CEO of ELEKS
TALLINN, HARJU, ESTONIA, August 25, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- ELEKS, a global software engineering and technology consulting company, today marks its 35th anniversary. The milestone traces the company's evolution from a single software product into a 2,300-strong engineering organisation working across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia.

Founded in 1991 by Oleksiy Skrypnyk and his son Oleksiy Skrypnyk Jr., ELEKS began with the launch of Dakar — a science-intensive software platform for power distribution systems across Eastern European markets. By 2016, it was operating in more than 20 power systems. What began as a product company grew into one of the leading software engineering and consulting firms in Europe, and then into an AI-native engineering partner. ELEKS has appeared on the IAOP Global Outsourcing 100 list for twelve consecutive years. It has also earned recognition for business achievement, software engineering and design innovation, and employer and workplace excellence in the region.

ELEKS serves more than 120 active client accounts and has delivered over 1,500 end-to-end software projects. Many of those partnerships have run for more than 20 years. That longevity points to consistent delivery quality and sustained institutional trust.

AI-native, by design

ELEKS' AI capabilities span the full software lifecycle. Agentic development accelerates how code is written, tested, and shipped. LLMOps and ML pipelines turn client data into production-grade intelligence, not just prototypes. Generative AI and conversational systems are embedded directly into client-facing products, from personalisation engines to autonomous customer support. On active client engagements, AI-assisted development is already delivering up to 30% savings in development time — a number ELEKS expects to grow as its AI-native practices mature across every delivery team globally.

This isn't a lab exercise. ELEKS' AI-native approach is already shipping in production for clients across banking, hospitality, healthtech, and enterprise software — turning fragmented data into real-time customer intelligence, automating decision-making at scale, and building the kind of AI-powered products that used to take specialist teams years to bring to market.

Building a global business, one market at a time

ELEKS' international growth has been deliberate and cumulative rather than sudden. The company won its first Western client in 1999 — an engagement now part of BNY Mellon — and built on that early trust with a Jersey-based consultancy partnership in 2001 and a Paperless Customs System for the States of Jersey in 2008, proving it could deliver complex, government-scale systems abroad.

Expansion then became structural: UK operations opened in 2012, and by 2014 ELEKS had added multiple global leaders and Fortune 500 enterprises to its client portfolio. By 2018, the company had opened offices in Berlin, Chicago, and Toronto to bring delivery closer to clients. Growth continued even through the pandemic, with a new office in Ajman, UAE, in 2020.

ELEKS operates offices across the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Japan, Croatia, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, serving more than 120 active clients. Several partnerships span 20+ years, reflecting a pattern of accounts that start small and grow alongside the client's own business.

" Problem-solving, a focus on quality, seeking synergies with our clients, and a pursuit of innovation have brought us to this 35-year milestone. This milestone is an opportunity to reflect on what we've achieved together and to prepare for the changes ahead. Technologies, markets, and business models will evolve, but the engineering excellence principles that got us here will remain at the core of who we are and how we deliver value to our clients.", said Ruslan Seredyk, Chief Engineering Officer of ELEKS.

The company's portfolio today spans custom software engineering, AI-native enterprise solutions, application modernisation, data engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure. Across all of it, ELEKS is embedding AI into every stage of the software delivery lifecycle. On active client engagements, AI-assisted development is already saving up to 30% of development time.

Looking ahead, ELEKS will expand its AI-native capabilities, deepen its industry expertise, and keep investing in engineering talent across its global network. The company reaffirms its commitment to long-term client partnerships and engineering excellence.
