TAMPA, FL, UNITED STATES, September 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- TAMPA, Fla. — John Morgan IV, founder of Gasparilla Gulf Estates and a real estate advisor with Keller Williams Tampa Central, represented the buyer in the $5.5 million acquisition of Penthouse PH-1702 at AQUA at Westshore Yacht Club. The transaction represents the highest-priced closed sale at AQUA to date.

The transaction closed August 18, 2026, for $5,500,000, or approximately $1,102 per square foot. AQUA is a 17-story luxury waterfront condominium development at Westshore Yacht Club featuring 77 residences and just two penthouses.

Located at 5713 Bowen Daniel Drive in Tampa, PH-1702 encompasses 4,993 square feet of interior living space with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. The residence shares AQUA’s 17th-floor penthouse level with only one other home and features three oversized terraces with views across Tampa Bay and toward downtown Tampa.

“This was an opportunity to acquire one of only two penthouses in a distinctive new waterfront development,” Morgan said. “Luxury buyers are increasingly evaluating the complete lifestyle — privacy, views, amenities, boating access and proximity to everything Tampa has to offer.”

The record AQUA closing adds to Morgan’s growing transaction history in luxury condominiums, penthouses, waterfront residences and new construction across Tampa Bay, Boca Grande and Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Recent transactions include a $2.245 million residence at Art House in downtown St. Petersburg, along with multiple multimillion-dollar transactions in Boca Grande and Gasparilla Island, including a $6.6 million residence at 180 Damfiwill Street, a $5.175 million property at 20 Grouper Hole Drive and a $3.295 million condominium at 950 Palm Avenue.

Morgan is also currently representing buyers under contract for residences at Pendry Residences Tampa and ONE Tampa in downtown Tampa, as well as a penthouse residence in the second tower at Marina Pointe in Tampa’s Westshore Marina District. Those transactions remain pending and have not yet closed.

Together, the closed and pending transactions reflect Morgan’s increasing focus on buyer representation for luxury condominiums, penthouses, waterfront residences and new-construction properties throughout Tampa Bay.

“Tampa’s luxury condominium market is evolving quickly,” Morgan said. “Buyers now have access to a level of new construction, amenities and residential options that simply didn’t exist here several years ago. Our role is to help clients understand the differences between these developments and identify the property that best fits what they are trying to accomplish.”

Morgan’s broader real estate practice includes luxury residential sales, waterfront properties, land, development opportunities and investment real estate.

John Morgan IV is a third-generation Florida real estate professional and founder of Gasparilla Gulf Estates, affiliated with Keller Williams Tampa Central. Based in Tampa with a presence in Boca Grande, Morgan works with buyers, sellers, investors and developers throughout Tampa Bay, Boca Grande and Florida’s Gulf Coast.
