ROCHESTER, NV, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Lilac Club Casino will welcome some of poker’s biggest personalities for the $60,000 Legends of Poker Tournament: One-Day Challenge on Thursday, September 24, beginning at 4 p.m.

This marks the second major poker tournament hosted by Lilac Club Casino featuring Hellmuth, who first competed at the property last year. His return builds on the excitement of the inaugural event.

Headlining the tournament are poker champions Phil Hellmuth, winner of 17 bracelets, and Shaun Deeb, winner of 9 bracelets. They will be joined by special guests Jason White, Mike “The Mouth” Matusow and Brandon Cantu, giving local players the opportunity to compete alongside some of the biggest personalities in the game.

Interest in the tournament is already building following the first satellite tournament on September 13, when several players earned seats in the main event. The final Mega Satellite Tournament will take place on September 20, giving players another opportunity to qualify. Players may also secure a seat through a $600 buy-in, available in the Lilac Club Poker Room beginning at 9 a.m. on Sunday, September 20.

The tournament will also feature a Champions Bounty. Any player who eliminates Phil Hellmuth or Shaun Deeb from the tournament will receive a $500 cash prize.

Tournament seats may be limited at the discretion of Poker Room management. Players are encouraged to visit the Lilac Club Poker Room for complete tournament, registration and satellite details.

The tournament will benefit two local nonprofit organizations, Thriving Roots Childcare and the Seacoast Educational Endowment of Dover. Under New Hampshire’s charitable gaming model, participating nonprofit organizations receive a designated portion of gaming proceeds generated during their assigned dates. Thriving Roots Childcare provides affordable childcare for children aged six weeks to six years. Funds received will help replace flooring in its pre-K classroom and purchase new playground equipment. The Seacoast Educational Endowment of Dover awards grants to Dover public school educators for continuing education opportunities, classroom resources, and innovative teaching tools.
