She has served as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist at a biomedical company since 2024.
Earlier, Ms. Robinson served as a United Nations delegate for the Commission on the Status of Women through the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom from 2014 to 2016. Her legal foundation includes working at Brown & Stanley PC in Detroit, serving in a prosecutorial role in the City Attorney’s Office in Flint, Michigan, under Acting City Attorney Karen L. Folks, and completing a judicial externship with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan under the mentorship of the Late Hon. U.S. District Judge Avern L. Cohn. She also gained early experience as a legislative intern for Former State Representative Jim Howell and as a student attorney at the Sixty Plus Elder Law Clinic.
Alongside her corporate career, Ms. Robinson has worked as an associate professor-lecturer since 2003, partnering exclusively with academic programs that align with her values. Her extensive academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in political science, cum laude, earned by age 20 on a full music scholarship, a Master of Arts in history from Jackson State University, a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from Cooley Law School earned by age 24, a Master of Laws (LLM) in transnational law from Willamette University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in international management and marketing from Northeastern University. She is also a certified Six Sigma master black belt.
In 2017, Ms. Robinson delivered a TEDx talk in Portland titled “Your Narrative is Your Super Power.” Her civic engagement includes serving on the board of the Society of Presidential Historians in Academia (SOPHIA), maintaining membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and supporting research and advocacy for chronic illnesses, brain tumors and Sjögren’s disease.
Creatively, she writes under the pen name Bea Giovanni.
