New to her industry, Ms. Devananda has certainly proven herself an expert at her young age. As a dynamic, results-driven emerging technology professional, Ms. Devananda is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Kennesaw State University, where she maintains a 4.0 GPA. She has a passion for AI, coding, and building projects that combine research and creativity. Her projects include adaptive quiz generation, AI music generation, AI chatbots, Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems, and full-stack AI applications. Through the research, hackathons, and application development in the university AI labs, she has applied these skills to educational AI systems, adaptive learning and interview-preparation tools, recommendation systems, conversational AI, and other interactive AI applications. Recently, she won First Place in the Best Ground-Up Model category in UGA Hacks at the University of Georgia, Athens, for her team's AI-powered real-time ASL translation and communication application.

As a Student AI Assistant and undergraduate researcher at Kennesaw State University, she has authored four peer-reviewed papers focusing on AI-based learning systems and AI music generation and has presented at Kennesaw’s C-Day conference twice. Her publications include research presented through IEEE Frontiers in Education (FIE) on adaptive quiz generation and an Agentic AI Quiz-Based Learning System, as well as research involving AI music generation presented through International Conference on New Music Concepts (ICNMC) and published in the International Journal of Music Science, Technology, and Art (IJMSTA), including work involving Meta's MusicGen fine-tuning. Her research and development experience has given her hands-on eexposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, model evaluation, and optimization.

Through on-campus selection, she has also gained industry experience as an AI Software Engineer Intern at a leading investment bank, where she worked in a team on an agentic AI recommendation system for personalized content. The experience allowed her to apply AI engineering, software development, data integration, and collaborative development practices within a large-scale professional enterprise environment.

Throughout her academic and emerging professional career, Ms. Devananda has received several awards and recognitions for her accomplishments. She has maintained a 4.0 GPA and earned a place on the President’s List for six consecutive semesters at Kennesaw State University. This year, she will be considered for The Empowered Woman Award and a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. Even more, she will be honored at IAOTP's annual awards gala at the iconic Plaza Hotel in New York City this December for her selection as Rising Tech Innovator of the Year for 2026.
